Announcement of twpro, a Fast Twitter Profile Search Engine

s21g LLC launched twpro, a service for fast profile search across Twitter users, at 10:00 a.m. on May 31, 2010.

The best part of Twitter is connecting with people. Who you follow has a major impact on that experience, yet discovery had long depended on pushed recommendations and celebrity accounts. With twpro, you can quickly find ordinary users who share your interests, hobbies, and concerns, leading to more meaningful communication.

The indexed profile data is refreshed regularly using our own web crawling technology, and the service focuses on Japanese users so that the search results remain fresh and relevant.

A simple interface enables fast profile search across Twitter users. Keyword AND searches separated by spaces are also supported, and the search target is limited to Japanese users.
